The "Jeonnam Education Companion Group," which will carry out on-site monitoring and proposal roles for education policies within Jeonnam Province, has officially begun its activities.

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education held an appointment ceremony for the Jeonnam Education Companion Group on the 12th at the Bitgaram Hotel in Naju, presenting appointment certificates to parents and local residents from each region.

The group will focus on on-site inspections of key policies, including ensuring basic academic skills, strengthening career and college guidance education, and operating customized Neulbom Schools and after-school programs. In addition, it plans to propose improvement measures by participating in policy forums and gathering opinions from the local community.

The Provincial Office of Education aims to strengthen demand-oriented policy design and feedback systems through the operation of the group. The results of the group's activities will be shared and discussed with relevant departments to be reflected in policy, and the outcomes will be made public to enhance policy satisfaction as experienced by the educational community.

Superintendent Kim Daejung stated, "The Jeonnam Education Companion Group is an important entity through which parents and local residents can directly participate in education policy," adding, "We will create Jeonnam education that supports the growth of every student by reflecting voices from the field."
