Ottogi announced on August 13 that it will launch the "Oz Kitchen Buffalo Wings."
This new product is a chicken drumette offering from the home meal replacement (HMR) specialty brand "Oz Kitchen," featuring convenient preparation and the spicy flavor of hot sauce. In particular, the 200g version comes in a dedicated standing pouch, allowing for easy microwave preparation and consumption.
The company stated, "'Oz Kitchen Buffalo Wings' are seasoned using a low-temperature aging brining method, ensuring the flavor is evenly absorbed throughout the meat. They are oven-baked to reduce greasiness while enhancing their chewy texture." The company also explained, "The spicy flavor from the hot sauce is balanced with the sweetness and saltiness preferred by Korean consumers, delivering a high-quality 'spicy-sweet-salty' taste profile."
Ottogi also plans to release a 300g version through both online and offline distribution channels.
