Large-Scale Recruitment of Surveyors and Management Staff
Applications Open from August 18 to 20
On August 12, Deokyang District in Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province, announced that it will openly recruit 226 survey personnel to ensure the smooth implementation of the "2025 Population and Housing Census," which will be conducted in November this year.
The Population and Housing Census is a national statistical survey conducted every five years to identify the size and characteristics of the population, households, and housing in South Korea. The data collected serves as a fundamental resource for policy formulation and development.
The recruitment includes a total of 226 positions: 22 survey management staff (21 survey managers and 1 survey support officer) who will oversee the overall process, and 204 field surveyors who will conduct on-site surveys.
Applicants must be residents of Goyang City aged 19 or older, able to perform their duties diligently throughout the survey period, and capable of using smart devices such as tablets. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in statistical surveys, low-income individuals, and households with multiple children.
Applications can be submitted either in person at Deokyang District Office or via email from August 18 to 20. Survey management staff will be selected through a document review and an interview scheduled for August 28.
An official from the district stated, "The Population and Housing Census is an important survey that serves as the foundation for understanding the lives of citizens and designing better policies," and added, "We ask for the active interest and participation of responsible and diligent local residents."
