Yongin City to Hold Professional Skills Training for Floriculture Farmers

Customized Cultivation Methods,
Soil and Fertilizer Management Techniques

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct the "2025 Floriculture Professional Skills Training" program to establish a foundation for producing high-quality floriculture brands and to promote communication and collaboration among flower farmers.

Yongin City to Hold Professional Skills Training for Floriculture Farmers

The training is focused on enhancing practical, field-oriented technical skills, including improving expertise in floriculture cultivation, strengthening pest and disease management capabilities, and supporting the adoption of smart agriculture technologies. The curriculum will especially emphasize practical topics essential for flower farmers, such as plant growth principles, methods for addressing physiological disorders, and fertilizer management.


The training will be held in two sessions: on the 19th at the Namsa-eup Community Center, and on the 22nd at the Wonsam-myeon Agricultural Technology Center. The program is open to members of the Yongin Floriculture Research Association and local floriculture farmers, with each session accommodating around 50 participants. Registration is available on-site only, with no advance application required.
