On August 12, Shinhan Card announced that it will host the "2025 Domestic Travel Summer Festa," offering domestic travel subsidies and up to 7% discount benefits to spread the consumption-boosting effects of the livelihood recovery consumption coupon program throughout regional areas.

In planning this event, Shinhan Card focused on promoting consumption and revitalizing local economies. The company has prepared special domestic travel benefits centered on regions designated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety as areas with declining populations, while also making the event accessible to all Shinhan Card customers.
Customers who apply for the event by September 6 and spend at least 150,000 won domestically will be eligible for a drawing to receive vacation subsidies of 150,000 won (100 winners), 15,000 won (1,000 winners), or 1,500 won (10,000 winners). All Shinhan Card customers who use their cards at domestic online or offline merchants are eligible to participate.
Exclusive discounts of up to 7% are also available for customers planning domestic travel to areas with declining populations. These discounts are provided without any prior monthly spending requirements, and additional benefits are offered when paying with a Shinhan Card.
Travelers to Jecheon can take advantage of an exclusive healing package arranged by Shinhan Card. Activities such as a foot bath experience and forest therapy at the National Jecheon Healing Forest are available at a 6% discount, making affordable day trips possible.
Private, exclusive tours to Ulleungdo and Dokdo are also worth considering. Small group tours for up to four people, including a dedicated vehicle and driver, are offered at a 7% discount. In addition, Shinhan Card customers can enjoy exclusive discounts on domestic travel packages to other population-declining areas such as Pyeongchang and Yeongam.
A Shinhan Card representative stated, "We have prepared this event to stimulate domestic demand and encourage tourism to areas with declining populations," adding, "We will continue to expand events that promote mutually beneficial consumption."
