LH to Disclose Public Housing Subscription Savings Threshold for the First Time in Namyangju Wangsuk

Full Disclosure of Minimum and Maximum Amounts Including Third-Generation New Towns
Special Supply Categories Excluded Due to Points and Lottery System
"High Deposit Amounts Required in the Seoul Metropolitan Area... Maintaining Subscription Accounts Is Essential"

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) will, for the first time, disclose the minimum and maximum recognized deposit amounts for housing subscription savings accounts among general public housing lottery winners. This marks the full disclosure of the previously confidential selection criteria, which had been withheld for both private and public housing lotteries.

On August 12, LH announced that it will reveal the winning threshold for public housing complexes where the number of applicants exceeds the available supply, resulting in competition. The threshold will be disclosed at the time of the announcement so that prospective applicants can assess their chances of winning and develop their strategies accordingly.

The disclosure of the winning threshold will be implemented starting with the Namyangju Wangsuk A-1 block, which will be announced on August 21.

The winning thresholds for general public housing supply (including waiting list applicants) in the three third-generation new towns supplied in the first half of this year?Goyang Changneung, Hanam Gyosan, and Bucheon Daejang?will also be made public.

However, special supply categories will be excluded from disclosure, as winners are determined either by a points-based system or by lottery, making the information less meaningful.

The threshold information can be found in the notices section of LH's Subscription Plus website.

Jung Suhyeon, Head of Sales Planning at LH, stated, "In the Seoul metropolitan area, the recognized deposit amount required to win is high," adding, "Continuing to maintain and contribute to your subscription account will help increase your chances of winning."

He further emphasized, "We will do our utmost to further enhance public trust and satisfaction with the public housing subscription system."
