Anseong City and SK hynix to Provide "Happiness Lunchbox" to Vulnerable Groups

The "Happiness Lunchbox" is a meal support program that regularly provides lunchboxes, each containing three types of side dishes, once a week to middle-aged and older adults living alone, socially isolated households, and individuals requiring intensive case management within the city.

For one year until July next year, the city and SK hynix will implement the program for 100 vulnerable individuals in the area. The project is fully funded by SK hynix, while the city is responsible for selecting recipients, establishing the lunchbox delivery system, and overseeing overall operations.

During the program period, the city plans to improve service quality through regular quality monitoring and by gathering feedback from beneficiaries, while also continuously checking the health status and satisfaction of recipients. SK hynix intends to enhance the program’s effectiveness through a smart care system, including AI-based nutrition consulting and meal planning.

Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, stated, "We hope this project will provide practical help to neighbors who struggle with meal preparation, improving their health and quality of life."
