LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam Invites Jinhae Naval Base Families for a Special Liberation Day Appreciation Event

A Special Day with Military Families
Honoring Liberation Day and Expressing Gratitude to Military Families

On August 9, ahead of Liberation Day, LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam (headed by Um Youngseok) invited around 30 military families from the Jinhae Naval Base Command, who are dedicated to national security, and offered them a special day.

This event was organized to reflect on the meaning of liberation and to express gratitude to the service members and their families who safeguard freedom and peace.

Participants toured key facilities at LetsRun Park, including the equine animal hospital, horse swimming pool, massage station, and the Dangsan Tree Observatory, aboard a tour bus. Programs such as feeding carrots and experiencing mini-horses were especially popular with children, providing them with a unique opportunity to interact with horses and enjoy new experiences.

In the afternoon, families took part in the 'Water Festival,' where they enjoyed refreshing water activities and created lasting memories together. One participant expressed high satisfaction, saying, "From the stable tour to the water play, all the children had a great time."

Um Youngseok, head of the park, stated, "In celebration of Liberation Day, we organized this event to convey our gratitude and support to the service members and their families who protect freedom and peace. I hope this becomes a memorable and special experience for the military families."
