Held at Hwarangdae Railroad Park
Featuring Norazo, No Brain, Hwang Garam, Koyote, and More
Nowon-gu in Seoul (Mayor Oh Seungrok) will host the "2025 Nowon Craft Beer Festival (NBF)" over three days from August 29 to 31 at Hwarangdae Railroad Park. Marking its third year, this festival will be held in the evening, starting at 5 p.m., as a night-time event to help visitors escape the summer heat.
The festival venue is divided into three zones: "Plaza 1," where 33 breweries from across the country, 200 types of craft beer, and 32 food trucks will gather; "Plaza 2," where visitors can enjoy beers and traditional foods from seven countries, cultural experiences for children, water and forest playgrounds, and a camping beer zone; and "Plaza 3," which features a book-and-beer zone, a local brand fair, and a beer docent program.
Plaza 1 will be set up around the Hwarangdae Soccer Field, Plaza 2 in front of the Swiss Pavilion at Nowon Train Village and the parking lot of Hwarangdae Railroad Park, and Plaza 3 in the central area of Hwarangdae Railroad Park, near "Cafe The Scenery with a Train."
The main stage will feature performances by Norazo and No Brain on August 29, Park Mikyung and Cherry Filter on August 30, and Hwang Garam and Koyote on August 31. An EDM stage will close out the final night. At 7:30 p.m. on August 29, ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from participating countries will attend the opening ceremony of the World Theme Zone.
The newly established "World Theme Zone" will offer not only beers from seven countries, including Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, and the United States, but also a variety of traditional foods such as German and Czech sausages, Spanish-style fries, and Hungarian langos, all in one place.
At the festival site, alcoholic beverages can be purchased after age verification. The use of PLA cups and installation of collection bins will help promote carbon neutrality. Two public happiness buses will run in a loop between Hwarangdae Station on Line 6 and the park.
Oh Seungrok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, said, "Following last year, when visitors enjoyed a wide variety of beers from across the country, this year, the festival will allow everyone to experience the charm of craft beer more deeply according to each theme and space. I hope you will fully enjoy the romance of a summer night at this festival, where taste, culture, and space come together."
