Lettering T-shirt with "Kkabujimara" Phrase Draws Attention
Jennie, a member of BLACKPINK, sent a warning message through her T-shirt, telling people not to mess with her.
On August 9, Jennie posted several photos on her social media account with the caption "Jennie's Paris travelogue." In the photos, Jennie is seen enjoying a relaxing time in Paris, France, with a natural, makeup-free look. She is pictured sitting on street steps eating bread or browsing a fruit shop, enjoying a laid-back daily life.
Among these, the lettering on Jennie's T-shirt has become a hot topic. The T-shirt she wore is from a domestic casual brand and is currently being sold for around 30,000 won on online fashion platforms. The shirt features the phrases "Did you get shot in the head? My dad is a good shooter. Don't mess with me," printed in English lettering. Notably, the phrase "kkabujimara" is written out phonetically in Korean, which has amused many. After Jennie wore it, the T-shirt quickly became one of the top-selling items?ranking first or second?on the online store.
This is not the first time an item worn by Jennie has sold out. Last month, when Jennie departed from the airport, she wore unique toe shoes that resembled socks. These shoes are functional athletic shoes designed for health, running, or trekking, and are not widely known to the public. However, after Jennie was seen wearing them, most sizes quickly sold out except for a few.
On July 11, BLACKPINK's Jennie attracted attention by appearing at Incheon International Airport wearing 'toe shoes.' Dispatch YouTube. Screenshot from Vibram FiveFingers Korea website.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, the group Jennie belongs to, held their "BLACKPINK World Tour <Deadline> in Paris" concerts at Stade de France in Paris, France, on August 2 and 3 (local time). BLACKPINK is also scheduled to perform at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom, on August 15 and 16.
