Seocho District to Hold 'Seocho Short-form Punch & He.No.Ae.Rak. Concert' on August 28 Provided by Seocho-gu.

The event is hosted by Seocho District and organized by the Seocho Women and Family Plaza Jamwon Center. It was planned to promote communication among residents and expand intergenerational understanding through short and intuitive digital short-form videos.

From June 20 to July 20, the district held a short-form video contest themed around the four emotions of ‘He (Joy)·No (Anger)·Ae (Sorrow)·Rak (Pleasure)’, receiving a total of 70 entries. After a judging process, a total of 15 outstanding works were selected, with five winners each in the ‘Happiness Award’, ‘Passion Award’, and ‘Empathy Award’ categories. The winning works will be screened on a large screen and awarded during the event.

Following the awards ceremony, the ‘He.No.Ae.Rak. Concert’ will be held, featuring violinist Danny Koo, who serves as Seocho District’s public relations ambassador. The performance is structured around the fundamental emotions of human beings and aims to expand the sentiments conveyed in the contest videos through music, fostering a sense of connection with the audience.

Admission is free for all seats, and advance reservations can be made on Yes24 Ticket starting at 9:00 a.m. on August 11. Seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jeon Sungsoo, Mayor of Seocho District, stated, “Although short-form videos are brief in format, this event provides an opportunity for residents to feel empathy and connection through heartfelt videos. We will continue to expand resident-centered, content-based cultural programs in the future.”
