"Comprehensive Protection from Detection to Prevention of Financial Damage"
LG Uplus and Woori Bank have joined forces to prevent financial losses for customers caused by the recent surge in voice phishing crimes.

According to LG Uplus on August 10, the two companies signed a "Telecommunications Financial Fraud Damage Prevention Agreement" at Woori Bank's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, on August 7.
This agreement was established to enable close cooperation between the finance and telecommunications sectors in order to prevent public damage and to proactively respond to the rapidly increasing new types of fraud schemes.
The two companies will: ▲ share information on voice phishing scam methods and damage cases; ▲ provide real-time business support to prevent the spread of damage; ▲ form a regular consultative body to identify collaborative projects and establish detailed implementation plans; and ▲ develop joint response measures to prevent other types of financial fraud.
