A story has emerged about a woman who won 500 million won in the lottery after dreaming of her late grandmother gently stroking her face.
According to an interview released on August 6 by lottery operator Donghaeng Lottery, the winner of the 97th round of "Speetto 1000," identified as Ms. A, visited her sister's house in Yangsan to celebrate her child's school vacation.
Ms. A said, "As usual, I went grocery shopping at a large supermarket with my sister, and when I saw a lottery shop nearby, I bought a Speetto ticket. After having a meal at home, I scratched the ticket together with my sister. At first, I thought I had won 5,000 won, but upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a ticket worth 500 million won."
She added, "For a moment, we were both speechless, and my heart was racing. I just couldn't believe it. Recently, I had a dream in which my grandmother, dressed neatly, gently stroked my face, and I had a feeling that something good would happen. I am grateful, as if the warm energy of my late grandmother was with me."
Meanwhile, "Speetto" is an instant lottery issued in Korea, where you can check if you have won immediately after scratching the ticket. Tickets are available at prices ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 won, with the top prize reaching up to 1 billion won. It is sold to help raise funds for the National Sports Promotion Fund and, along with Lotto, has become one of the country's representative lottery products.
