Participation of iM Family Volunteer Group and University Student Volunteer Group
On August 8, iM Financial Group announced that it held the 'Gyeongbuk Love Volunteer Camp' in Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province.
This event, organized together with Yeongcheon City at the Yeongcheon Welfare Center for the Disabled, was attended by about 40 members of the iM Family Volunteer Group and a university student volunteer group. They provided customized financial education for financially vulnerable groups and operated a one-day tea house for around 200 visitors to the welfare center, serving refreshing Sikhye and iced tea.
Along with a special lunch, cup fruits and summer supplies were packed in eco-friendly shopping bags and distributed as dessert. In the afternoon, a cultural performance was held for everyone to enjoy together. Additionally, tailored sponsorship funds were delivered to four social welfare facilities within Yeongcheon.
Hwang Byungwoo, Chairman of iM Financial Group, said, "I am grateful that not only our employees but also their families and university students participated together to put warm-hearted finance into practice and demonstrate the value of sharing," adding, "We will continue to strengthen communication with the local community and practice unwavering love for our neighbors through participatory and mutually beneficial cooperation."
