The barefoot trails in Haneulmul Neighborhood Park and Tori Neighborhood Park have been created along the existing circular walking paths, making them ideal for walking under cool shade. The section installed along the pedestrian road next to Bongu Neighborhood Park allows visitors to walk along the Metasequoia Road, offering a unique experience.
In Deokgye Neighborhood Park and Okjeong Lake Park, three loess ball experience zones have been created under the shade of trees, receiving a positive response from citizens. Various facilities such as foot-washing stations, shoe racks, outdoor benches, cleaning tool storage, and information boards have been installed along the barefoot trails to maintain a pleasant environment. Citizens are also voluntarily participating in environmental clean-up activities, such as removing fallen leaves.
A city official stated, "With the creation of these barefoot trails, citizens will be able to enjoy both health and relaxation through barefoot walking," adding, "We will continue to expand these trails so that citizens can enjoy barefoot walking anytime and anywhere."
