Park Sihoo Denies Involvement in Family Breakdown Allegations: "Groundless"

Actor Park Sihoo has stated that the claims alleging his involvement in the breakdown of a family are "groundless" and announced his intention to pursue legal action.

On August 7, Park Sihoo's agency, Hoo Factory, clarified, "The post claiming that 'Park Sihoo introduced a woman to a married man and played a significant role in the family breakdown' is a falsehood with no basis in fact." The agency added, "We plan to take prompt action regarding this matter." They continued, "We have appointed legal counsel and are preparing civil and criminal legal actions, including filing for mediation with the Press Arbitration Commission and a defamation lawsuit," urging people not to spread false information.
On August 5, influencer A posted on social media, claiming that Park Sihoo introduced a woman to her husband, which led to the breakdown of their family, and shared a message conversation that included Park Sihoo's name. However, the woman identified by A directly refuted the claim, stating, "I do not know A at all." She further expressed, "If the false information is not deleted or corrected, I will consider legal action."
Park Sihoo made his broadcast debut in 2005 with the KBS drama "Delightful Girl Chunhyang" and has appeared in works such as "Prosecutor Princess" and "The Princess' Man." In 2013, he was accused of sexually assaulting an aspiring entertainer and was handed over to the police, but the case was dismissed without prosecution after the alleged victim withdrew her complaint.
