The Cheongnyeomhanbit Network is a council composed of seven institutions, including SEMAS, the Daejeon Social Service Center, the Daejeon Jungbu Branch of the National Health Insurance Service, and the Daejeon Credit Guarantee Foundation. The event was held at the Forest Welfare Comprehensive Education Center of the Korea Forest Welfare Institute in Seo-gu, Daejeon, under the slogan "Stop Corruption (GO), Reduce Risks (GO), Protect Human Rights (GO)"?summed up as "GO, GO, GO!" A total of 140 executives and staff members from the participating institutions attended the event.

The heads of each institution declared their commitment to integrity by reading a pledge. Following this, anti-corruption and integrity education sessions, as well as the "Integrity Golden Bell" quiz, were held to strengthen the awareness of integrity among the participating executives and staff. In addition, to enhance the ethical standards of the local community, the institutions plan to actively promote the social responsibility and role of public organizations by conducting integrity, ethics, and human rights campaigns targeting citizens at the site of Daejeon's local "0si Festival."

Park Sunghyo, Chairman of SEMAS, stated, "It is highly meaningful that public institutions in the Daejeon region have collaborated to lead this resolution meeting for the spread of integrity, ethics, and human rights values. Going forward, SEMAS will further strengthen its culture of integrity and faithfully fulfill its responsibilities as a public institution by continuously practicing sustainable ethical management, including preventing conflicts of interest and spreading a culture of respect for human rights."

Meanwhile, as part of its joint projects last year, the Cheongnyeomhanbit Network successfully carried out six initiatives, including operating six working-level council meetings, a joint integrity pledge by the heads of institutions, as well as projects to prevent abuse of power and conflicts of interest.
