Hands-on Programs to Strengthen Digital Competency for Students, Parents, and Teachers
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Taehee) held the 'Reading, Watching, and Thinking Digital Literacy Camp' at the Gyeonggi EduTech Soft Lab on August 7.

More than 100 students, parents, and teachers from the province participated in this camp, which was organized to strengthen digital competency and improve digital skills through hands-on digital citizenship education.
The main components included: ▲ Introduction and hands-on experience of digital citizenship education policies ▲ Preliminary assessment and needs analysis of digital literacy ▲ Operation of digital literacy programs for students, parents, and teachers.
This camp, designed with a focus on hands-on activities, emphasized the cultivation of various digital competencies needed in the future society, such as: ▲ (For teachers) Use of EduTech and digital ethics ▲ (For parents) Digital communication and information utilization with their children ▲ (For students) Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the digital world.
Kim Taeseok, Director of Digital Education Policy at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, stated, "This camp served as an opportunity to enhance practical digital competency and was also a meaningful time for narrowing the digital gap," adding, "We will continue to expand digital citizenship education to establish a healthy online culture."
