The Youth Challenge Support Project, promoted as a contest project by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is a customized program designed to help young people who have lost confidence during the job search process start new challenges through self-exploration and career planning.

The program is open to individuals who meet certain requirements, including: young people aged 18 to 34 who have not participated in employment education or vocational training within the past six months; young people under the age of 45 who reside in Jeongeup City and work less than 30 hours per week at part-time jobs; young people who have left child welfare facilities; and young North Korean defectors.

A total of 30 participants will be selected, and the program will run for 15 weeks from August 20 to December 1. Participants can choose between morning and afternoon sessions, and those who meet the completion requirements will receive a participation allowance of up to 2.2 million won.

The main curriculum includes a one-day class to restore confidence, personal color analysis, education on organization and prevention of digital addiction, as well as career consulting, vocational aptitude tests, resume writing, workplace communication skills, and various other programs to strengthen practical job-seeking capabilities.

Applications can be submitted via the Employment 24 website, Naver Form, or by visiting the Jeongeup City Youth Support Center in person. For more details, please contact the Jeongeup City Youth Support Center directly.

A city official stated, "As this is the final cohort of the mid-term program for this year, we hope it will provide practical support for job-seeking youth to regain their potential and pioneer new career paths."
