Airport Railroad Joins as the 650th Sharing Distinguished Company of Fruit of Love

The Community Chest of Korea, Fruit of Love (Chairman Kim Byungjun), announced on August 6 that Airport Railroad (President Park Daesu) has joined as the 650th Sharing Distinguished Company nationwide and the 60th in the Incheon region. The membership ceremony for Sharing Distinguished Companies was held on August 5 at Incheon Fruit of Love, attended by Lee Changhwan, Head of Future Business Division at Airport Railroad, Park Yonghun, Director of Operations at Incheon Fruit of Love, and other related officials.

Since 2010, Airport Railroad has consistently carried out social contribution activities for the local community through Incheon Fruit of Love. These activities include providing emergency living expenses, medical expenses, and educational support, as well as offering food and gift certificates, dementia care kits, tablet PCs, laptops, and installing air conditioners, among various other initiatives.

Lee Changhwan, Head of Future Business Division at Airport Railroad, stated, "Since 2010, our employees have come together to consistently practice sharing for neighbors in need in Incheon. As a result, we are honored to be recognized as a Sharing Distinguished Company," adding, "We will continue to engage in diverse social contribution activities as a company that grows together with the local community."

Park Yonghun, Director of Operations at Incheon Fruit of Love, said, "We deeply appreciate Airport Railroad for fulfilling its social responsibility through continuous interest and sharing for the local community, even in challenging economic conditions," and continued, "Just as Airport Railroad sets an example for many companies, Fruit of Love will also strive to deliver hope to even more neighbors."

The Fruit of Love Sharing Distinguished Company program is a high-value corporate donation initiative for small and medium-sized enterprises that either donate more than 100 million KRW or pledge to donate within five years. It leads the culture of sharing in Korea and presents a new role model for corporate social contribution. Depending on the cumulative donation amount, companies are classified as Green (over 100 million KRW), Silver (over 300 million KRW), or Gold (over 500 million KRW) members. To provide a more flexible donation environment, as of July 1, the pledge requirement has been changed from "100 million KRW within three years" to "100 million KRW within five years."
