Responsible for LLM Model Fine-Tuning and Global Expansion
Allganize Korea, a large language model (LLM) solutions company, announced on August 6 that it will participate in the Upstage consortium for the "Independent AI Foundation Model Project" organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Through this project, Allganize Korea will be responsible for fine-tuning the independently developed LLM model and leading its expansion into global markets.
This project is a national flagship AI initiative in which five consortia?Upstage, Naver Cloud, LG AI Research Institute, SK Telecom, and NC AI?have been selected to develop independent AI foundation models.
The Upstage consortium, which includes Allganize Korea, is the only consortium among startups to be selected. It is structured as an industry-academia-research collaboration, bringing together specialized companies and institutions in areas such as model development, R&D and talent training, and industry-specific applications. The consortium aims to spread AI technology across various industries and to build a domestic AI technology ecosystem that is globally competitive.
Within this consortium, Allganize Korea will be responsible for fine-tuning the AI foundation model developed for each sector and country, thereby leading the global expansion into overseas markets.
Allganize Korea provides a customized platform through its flagship service, the LLM all-in-one solution "Ali," enabling enterprise companies to easily build generative AI apps and AI agents. More than 100 apps and agents are available for immediate use, and users can selectively utilize various LLMs such as GPT and Gemini.
Allganize serves approximately 300 corporate clients, primarily in Korea, the United States, and Japan. In Japan, the company supplies its services to major corporations such as Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), Nomura Securities, Hitachi, Coca-Cola Japan, and Tokyo Metro. In the United States, its clients include companies such as Travelus.
According to a report published by the Japanese market research firm Deloitte Tohmatsu MIC Research Institute, Ali ranked first in both market share and sales in the "AI App Development Low-Code/No-Code Platform" category in Japan as of 2024.
Lee Changsoo, CEO of Allganize, stated, "Through our participation in this consortium, we will actively support Korean-developed AI technology in demonstrating its competitiveness in the global market," and added, "Based on our experience in securing global clients, we will contribute to accelerating the overseas expansion of Korean AI technology."
