FindersAI Implements Fully Unmanned AI Convenience Store in Singapore

FindersAI Launches Fully Unmanned Store Technology
at Seven-Eleven Singapore
Sets New Standard for Post-Payment Convenience Store Experience

FindersAI, an artificial intelligence (AI) store automation company, announced on August 6 that it has begun operating its fully unmanned store technology at the Seven-Eleven convenience store in Singapore.

FindersAI selected Singapore as its bridgehead for global expansion and began its business there earlier this year. After opening a demonstration unmanned store at Changi Airport in Singapore last month, the company has now partnered with the global convenience store brand Seven-Eleven to open an unmanned convenience store.

This store is located within the National Neuroscience Institute at a general hospital in Singapore. Due to the hospital's nature, the store is required to operate 24 hours a day, but it had been facing labor shortages. FindersAI's technology has addressed this issue, allowing the store to be operated in a fully unmanned format.

A FindersAI representative stated, "Although there were already global AI companies that had entered and expanded in the Singapore market, we replaced them with our technology and differentiated post-payment customer experience. The significance lies in the fact that we have set a new standard in Singapore by providing a more convenient and intuitive user experience compared to existing unmanned systems, enabling us to replace global companies."

This Seven-Eleven Singapore unmanned store is a 'post-payment unmanned store' that allows anyone to freely enter and exit without separate authentication. By utilizing FindersAI's vision AI-based technology, the system tracks customer movement in real time and automatically recognizes purchased products, processing payments automatically. This technology has already proven its accuracy and stability in real stores in Korea, and it is recognized for its cost competitiveness among global vision AI-based unmanned solutions.

Ham Myungwon, CEO of FindersAI, said, "Since this year, FindersAI has diversified its unmanned solutions by launching VCO (Vision Check Out) AI self-checkout counters in addition to fully unmanned stores. We will continue to pursue localized business expansion strategies not only in Korea but also in Singapore and Japan."
