Chungcheong Regional Council Delivers Disaster Relief Donations

The political community of the Chungcheong region delivered disaster relief donations through the Community Chest of Korea on August 5, wishing for the swift recovery of daily life for residents of Seosan and Yesan in South Chungcheong Province, who suffered significant damage from the heavy rains that fell from July 16 to 19. They called for increased attention and various forms of support to help those affected in Seosan and Yesan, which have been declared special disaster zones, return to their normal lives as soon as possible.

Members of the Chungcheong Regional Council, who participated in delivering the donations, said, "We hope this will provide at least some help to the displaced residents whose daily lives have been disrupted by the heavy rains, as well as to those working hard on recovery efforts." Chairperson No Geumsik also stated, "I would like to express my deepest condolences to the residents of the affected areas," and added, "We have decided to deliver these donations together with the council members to support prompt recovery efforts and the provision of necessary supplies."
