Hana Card released a document titled "10 Reasons to Take Travelog with You When Traveling to Japan," which details these benefits.

Travelog is Hana Financial Group's flagship service that allows users to exchange 58 types of currencies for free through the Hana Money application and use the Travelog Card anywhere in the world without transaction fees.

It was launched in July 2022 and has maintained the number one market share in overseas check cards since January 2023, holding this position for 30 consecutive months.

Hana Card explained that if you bring either the Travelog or Travelgo Card to Japan, you can receive benefits immediately from the day the card is issued, without any requirements such as a minimum monthly spending.

The basic benefits include free Japanese yen currency exchange (100% exchange rate benefit), no overseas transaction fees, and no overseas ATM withdrawal fees. There are also many affiliated merchants where you can make payments locally.

If you bring both cards, you can prepare for loss or theft. You can also manage your travel expenses with just the Hana Money app.

Until the end of the year, additional benefits include earning 20,000 Hana Money points at Don Quijote, a 50% discount at 7-Eleven, and a 10% discount at Uniqlo. When using the Travelgo Card, you can receive up to four types of coupons for Daiso, Starbucks, the three major convenience stores (Lawson, 7-Eleven, FamilyMart), and McDonald's.

Furthermore, if you link your Travelog to a Hana Bank account, you can exchange currency, make payments, and withdraw cash even during bank maintenance hours.

Meanwhile, Hana Card is running the "Travel or Die Syndrome" event throughout this month. This event distributes a total prize of 10 million won among members who exchange any of the 58 currencies at the lowest rate during the event period.

Every day, five customers who exchange any of the 58 currencies are selected by lottery to receive a global lounge coupon. The first customer to exchange currency each day will receive 1,000 Hana Money points.

A Hana Card representative said, "Depending on the promotion, you can double your benefits when using the card," and added, "If you are planning a trip to Japan, we recommend bringing both the Travelog and Travelgo check cards with you."
