On this day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 1.34% compared to the previous trading day. The S&P 500, which is focused on large-cap stocks, increased by 1.47%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq climbed by 1.95% at the close of trading.
