to Social Welfare Facilities and Vulnerable Groups
This event was organized to support local small business owners who are struggling due to the economic downturn, and to extend warmth to neighbors in welfare blind spots during the sweltering summer.

The YGPA Port Love Volunteer Group, comprised of the Authority's executives and staff, visited Jinam Market in Yeosu on July 28, Okgok 5-Day Market in Gwangyang on July 29, and Gwangyang 5-Day Market on August 1. They purchased local agricultural and marine products such as potatoes, watermelons, mackerel, and anchovies, and delivered all the purchased goods directly to 20 social welfare facilities in the Yeosu and Gwangyang areas.
Acting President Hwang Hakbeom stated, "I hope this event, held in cooperation with local traditional markets, has brought vitality to small business owners and a helping hand to our neighbors. We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities in partnership with the local community."
Meanwhile, since 2018, the Authority has been steadily implementing the "YGPA Traditional Market Day" by purchasing agricultural and marine products from traditional markets in Yeosu and Gwangyang every year and donating them to social welfare facilities and vulnerable groups, thereby practicing mutual growth with the local community.
