According to the BBC, The Guardian, and other sources, at around 10:19 p.m. local time on August 2, a report was received that an injury had occurred during the Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium in London. When police and medical personnel arrived, they found a man in his 40s who had suffered injuries from a fall, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The concert venue had a capacity of 90,000 seats, and it is reported that the man fell from the upper seating area. A member of the audience who was seated in the lower section wrote on social media, "At first, I thought a coat had fallen from above," and added, "Later, I saw the person lying on the concrete. It was horrific."

The police believe the venue was extremely crowded at the time. They stated, "We believe there were numerous witnesses to the incident. Whether intentional or not, there are likely many videos recorded on mobile phones," and added, "We are awaiting information related to the circumstances of the accident."

This concert is part of the world tour that began last month in the UK, marking the reunion of Oasis after 16 years. The band had disbanded in 2009 due to conflicts between the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel.

On August 3, Oasis released a statement saying, "We are shocked and saddened by the tragic news of a fan's death," and added, "We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and friends." However, the London concert scheduled for the following day proceeded as planned without any changes.

Formed in 1991, Oasis is a legendary band that has sold over 90 million albums worldwide, leaving behind countless hit songs such as "Don't Look Back In Anger," "Live Forever," and "Champagne Supernova." They were called the "Emperors of Britpop" in the 1990s and 2000s and enjoyed immense popularity. However, due to worsening conflicts between the Gallagher brothers, the band officially disbanded in August 2009.

Although there were several rumors of a reunion afterward, it never materialized until the announcement in August last year that they would reunite and embark on a 2025 tour. Their previously released albums re-entered the top of the charts, and world tour tickets sold out instantly, with scalping rampant, proving that their popularity remains strong despite the long hiatus.

Oasis plans to continue their tour in the UK, Ireland, the United States, Mexico, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and other countries, and will perform in Korea in October.
