Influencers are evolving beyond simple content creators, building brands with their names and images, and growing as independent economic entities. As a result, they face a complex array of legal risks, including contracts, copyright, privacy, account security, and taxation. This situation requires a specialized and integrated response.
The 'Influencer Support Center' at Law Firm Won offers services including: ▲ account and content risk management ▲ contract review and advisory ▲ protection of reputation and privacy ▲ labor and activity environment consulting ▲ tax and intellectual property management ▲ global platform advisory.
Law Firm Won stated, "The center will provide support for responding to and recovering from account-related issues such as suspension, deletion, and hacking on domestic and international SNS platforms, as well as offer legal review services for content-related matters such as advertising disclosures, copyright, and portrait rights. In addition, the center will handle civil and criminal responses to defamation and privacy violations caused by malicious comments, dissemination of false information, invasion of privacy, and stalking, as well as offer services related to trademark and IP management."
Law Firm Won plans to provide comprehensive and practical solutions to the complex legal issues faced by influencers through organic collaboration among its specialized teams in entertainment, AI & TECH, civil law, criminal law, and international transactions.
The Influencer Support Center has also launched an official Instagram account to strengthen communication with influencer clients and enhance service accessibility.
Lim Changuk, head of the Influencer Support Center and attorney, explained the purpose of the center's establishment, saying, "While resolving recent cases of influencer account deactivation on SNS platforms, I realized the complexity of the legal issues they face. Law Firm Won has proactively analyzed these trends and launched the Influencer Support Center to provide specialized responses."
He added, "Influencers are directly exposed to numerous legal risks during their rapid growth in a short period of time. We will help influencers achieve stable growth."
Managing Partner Lee Yujeong stated, "Law Firm Won closely observes the rapidly changing market environment and focuses on developing legal services that are genuinely needed by clients. We will continue to provide and develop legal services that meet client needs in line with new industry structures and technological trends."
