Field Administration and County Residents' Participation Shine
Customized Services Provided for the Elderly
In the government’s livelihood recovery consumption coupon program, Buyeo County in South Chungcheong Province recorded a distribution rate of 92.91% as of August 1, achieving the highest performance among the 15 cities and counties in the province.
According to the county on August 4, Buyeo not only surpassed the average distribution rate of South Chungcheong Province (91.02%), but also stood out as the only county-level local government to exceed 90%, demonstrating administrative capability and active participation from residents.
The government considers the initial execution rate of the consumption coupon distribution as a key indicator in evaluating local governments, and this is expected to have a direct impact on the selection of outstanding local governments and the allocation of incentives in the future.
This achievement was made possible by the swift response of field officials and customized administrative services tailored to residents.
Township and town administrative welfare centers provided comprehensive services such as 'visiting application support' for the elderly and others with limited access to information, extended working hours on weekends and at night, as well as notifications via text messages and phone calls.
A county official stated, "The highest distribution rate was achieved through the active participation of residents and the dedication of our staff," and added, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that livelihood recovery policies are delivered without omission."
