French Vanilla, Peach Strawberry, and Cherry Plum Fizzio Return
Limited-Time Popular Beverages Released for the Ongoing Summer Heat

Starbucks Korea announced on August 4 that it has reintroduced its popular summer season beverages. The summer season lineup consists of three drinks: French Vanilla Latte, Peach Strawberry Fizzio, and Cherry·Plum Energy Fizzio.

The 'French Vanilla Latte' was first introduced last year by Starbucks Korea to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Korea. It was a reinterpretation of a beverage previously sold at overseas Starbucks locations, tailored to suit the tastes of Korean customers. Over 3 million cups were sold last year. The beverage stands out for blending two shots of Blonde Espresso with vanilla flavor in a Tall size, reimagining a menu item from overseas stores to fit local preferences.


The sparkling beverage 'Peach Strawberry Fizzio' features a pink hue from peaches and strawberries, combined with effervescence that evokes the look of sparkling wine. Since its launch in June 2023, about 3.5 million cups have been sold over approximately one year and two months. It was temporarily discontinued for operational efficiency but has now been brought back.


'Cherry·Plum Energy Fizzio' was also selected as a product to help boost energy during the hot weather. Since its launch in April, about 1 million cups have been sold. It contains nutrients that meet the daily recommended intake, including 1,000 mg of taurine, 50 mg of vitamin C, and 30 μg of biotin per Tall size. It is also low in calories, with only 99 kcal per Grande size, which is the medium size. Additionally, it is caffeine-free, making it an ideal choice for those following health-conscious trends.


Choi Hyunjung, Head of Beverage Development at Starbucks, stated, "All of these beverages are light and refreshing options perfect for enjoying in hot weather." She added, "Starbucks will continue to introduce beverages that can be enjoyed according to the season and weather, striving to provide customers with a wide variety of drink choices."
