Lotte Engineering & Construction announced on August 4 that it has published the "2025 Sustainability Management Report," which details its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management performance. This marks the 13th report since the first publication in 2013.
This report was prepared in accordance with the 2021 version of the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), an international sustainability disclosure standard, as well as the S1 and S2 standards of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). S1 refers to general disclosure requirements, while S2 pertains to climate-related disclosures.
For the first time this year, the company expanded the scope of ESG disclosures to include a "Biodiversity Protection Policy." The report analyzes the impact of construction projects on ecosystems and outlines preemptive measures to reduce environmental damage.
In addition, the report summarizes sustainable management activities centered around five key themes: responding to climate change, strengthening safety and health, promoting mutual growth with partners, respecting human rights, and quality management. Lotte Engineering & Construction conducted human rights education and surveys for all employees, and incorporated the resulting improvements into the report.
Jung-Ho Han, Head of Strategic Planning at Lotte Engineering & Construction (Executive Director), stated, "We recognize the importance of ESG information disclosure and are striving for active communication with stakeholders. Through practical ESG management initiatives, such as responding to climate change and strengthening safety and quality management, we aim to grow as a sustainable company."

Meanwhile, last year's report from Lotte Engineering & Construction received the Grand Prize in the Global Communications category at the "2024 Spotlight Awards" hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), and was also selected as one of the "Worldwide Top 100," earning external recognition for the quality of its ESG disclosures.
