KT announced on August 4 that its monthly subscription-based cloud product has been recognized for its strong security by obtaining the Security Function Verification Certificate from the National Intelligence Service. The Security Function Verification Certificate from the National Intelligence Service is a mandatory certification required when national and public institutions introduce information systems.
The KT Managed Private Cloud, launched in June, allows customers to build a private cloud environment tailored to their needs without incurring initial setup costs. It also includes a total care service provided by cloud specialists. The customer center responds to inquiries 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and cloud experts are dedicated to handling everything from system design and implementation to maintenance.
Depending on customer needs, a hybrid cloud environment can also be implemented. For example, tasks that require high security or must be continuously performed, such as development and testing, can be operated on the private cloud, while customer-facing services that require flexible response to demand can be operated on the public cloud. This allows KT to flexibly meet various customer requirements.
Yoo Seobong, Executive Vice President and Head of the AX Business Division at KT Enterprise, said, "With KT Managed Private Cloud, companies struggling with digital transformation due to initial costs and a shortage of specialized personnel will be able to easily introduce enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure."
