This competition attracted a total of 27 teams through a policy proposal contest held over three months. After a document screening process, five teams advanced to the final stage. The finalist teams refined their proposals and improved their completeness through one-on-one consultations with policy experts throughout July.

The final round will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel "Yangcheon TV." Youth participants will directly present their policy ideas and have their feasibility evaluated through real-time discussions.

The judging panel consists of seven policy experts and a youth audience jury of 30 members selected through an open call. The expert panel will evaluate based on five criteria: effectiveness, feasibility, creativity, completeness, and communication skills. The youth audience jury will participate in the evaluation through on-site voting.

The final ranking will be determined by combining 70% of the expert panel's score and 30% of the audience jury's score. The grand prize winner will receive 1 million KRW, the excellence award winner will receive 500,000 KRW, and each of the three merit award winners will receive 200,000 KRW, along with certificates. The winning proposals will be introduced at the "Youth Policy Expo" on Youth Day this September and are expected to be reflected in next year's budget.

Yangcheon District is currently recruiting members for the youth audience jury to participate in the final evaluation from August 4 to August 8. Any youth aged 19 to 39 can apply by submitting an application via Google Forms online.

Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, stated, "Policy ideas proposed and designed directly by youth will become the driving force for change in Yangcheon," adding, "The administration will actively support the institutionalization and realization of youth ideas."
