The counseling will be provided by 40 current high school teachers with extensive experience in career and college guidance, who are affiliated with the Gwangju Career and College Guidance Group, the Gwangju College Admissions Heads Association, the Korean Council for University Education, and the Korean Council for College Education. One-on-one in-person counseling will be offered to approximately 340 participants, including current third-year high school students, graduates, and out-of-school youth in the Gwangju area who registered in advance through the website.

The teachers will offer personalized counseling using various resources, including early decision placement reference materials produced by the Gwangju College Admissions Heads Association and the Gwangju Career and College Guidance Group, the Gwangju Office of Education's own college counseling program "Bitgoeul Jinhak Olligo," and the Korean Council for University Education's college admission counseling program.

"Bitgoeul Jinhak Olligo" incorporates 1.65 million cases of admission and rejection over the past three years, as well as all currently available nationwide university admission results. The city office of education expects that by analyzing students' desired career paths, areas of academic interest, and academic records from multiple perspectives, the program will be effective in helping students design their application strategies.

In addition to this intensive counseling week, the office has also informed students about the Korean Council for University Education's online counseling service and the college admissions call center. Through the "Bitgoeul Kumtree Career and College Counseling Band," current teachers are providing college counseling 24 hours a day. On July 18 and 19, 420 students received counseling at the Gwangju Career and College Admissions Expo, which was attended by 148 universities nationwide.
