At the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee on the same day, Minister Jung explained, "According to the internal regulations of Seoul Detention Center, during the summer heat, inmates are required to wear short-sleeved shirts and shorts from 6:20 a.m., which is wake-up time, until just before 9:00 p.m., which is bedtime. If inmates do not wear the designated clothes for an extended period, they are ordered to do so, and if they fail to comply, penalty points are imposed. Accumulated penalty points may result in disciplinary action or other disadvantages."

He further explained, "Former President Yoon was wearing the short-sleeved top and bottom as required, but when the special prosecutor's team attempted to execute the arrest warrant, he removed his prison uniform, and as soon as the team left, he put it back on." In response to a question about whether former President Yoon wore the prison uniform during a meeting with his attorney after refusing arrest, Minister Jung replied, "It appears so."

Minister Jung commented, "Frankly, such behavior from a former president is embarrassing," and added, "We will ensure that he is treated appropriately, taking into account his status as a former president, so that there is no misunderstanding regarding preferential treatment."

Earlier, the special prosecutor's team led by Min Jungki stated in a briefing that, regarding the attempt to execute the arrest warrant for former President Yoon that morning, "The suspect was lying on the floor and strongly refused to be arrested, not even wearing his prison uniform."
