This project was launched to address educational blind spots caused by transportation inconveniences by connecting homes, schools, and the Neulbom Center. It is expected to reduce the childcare burden on parents and promote stable educational participation for students, enabling the implementation of inclusive education policies.
Yeoncheon County designed the bus routes by reflecting the characteristics and demand of each elementary school district within the region, and designated pick-up and drop-off points mainly at major apartment complexes and requested areas. The 'DIVE Edu Bus' operates at scheduled times before the start and after the end of the Neulbom program, and dedicated staff are assigned to prioritize student safety.
A Yeoncheon County official stated, "This is a measure to improve educational accessibility and create a child-friendly environment in line with the purpose of operating Neulbom School," and added, "We will continue to improve the commuting routes and operating system by reflecting feedback from parents and schools."
