Actyon Hybrid and Musso EV Drive Sales Growth
KG Mobility announced on the 1st that it sold a total of 9,620 units in July, including 4,456 units in the domestic market and 5,164 units for export.
Thanks to increased sales volume of models such as the Actyon Hybrid, domestic sales showed signs of recovery and reached the highest monthly figure of the year. Compared to the same month last year, sales rose by 15.7%, and compared to the previous month, they increased by 4.2%. This marks three consecutive months of growth since April.
Domestic sales were led by the Actyon Hybrid, which sold 1,060 units, and the Musso EV, which sold 1,339 units, both of which were launched last month.
The Actyon Hybrid is an urban SUV that offers driving performance and fuel efficiency closest to electric vehicles among domestic hybrid models. It is recognized for its sophisticated design and for standardizing advanced safety and convenience features that are highly preferred, while maintaining price competitiveness with a single trim priced in the 36 million won range.
Exports surged by 26.7% year-on-year, driven by increased sales volume of the Torres EVX in the Turkiye region, and cumulative exports also grew by 9.4% compared to the previous period.
A KGM official stated, "With the full-scale launch of the Actyon Hybrid, we achieved the highest sales performance of the year along with a recovery in domestic sales," and added, "We will continue to increase sales volume by expanding customer touchpoints through various marketing strategies to boost domestic sales, as well as strengthening our efforts in global markets."
