This contest was held to discover new senior jobs and social activities that are suitable for older adults to perform and can contribute to the local community. A total of 395 themes were submitted nationwide, and after two rounds of screening, 12 final entries were selected. Yeoju City was the only basic local government in the country to receive an award under its own name.

Yeoju City and Yeoju Urban Corporation expect that, through collaboration and linkage between the Senior Job Project and the transportation vulnerable mobility service 'Sarangeulsilcha,' the activation of the currently 24-hour operated project and the improvement of working conditions for operational staff will further enhance the mobility convenience services for Yeoju citizens.

Mayor Lee Chungwoo stated, "Through our selection in this contest, Yeoju City has once again created an opportunity to expand various job opportunities and social participation for seniors as an age-friendly city." He added, "We will work closely with Yeoju Urban Corporation to ensure that the 2026 Senior Job Project Group can be introduced, thereby further improving the quality of mobility convenience services for the transportation vulnerable in Yeoju."
