Second Sponsorship for the "Standing Together Support Project"
Participation by Korea Land and Housing Corporation and Save the Children
Korea Citibank announced on August 1 that it had signed the second sponsorship agreement for the "Standing Together Support Project" in partnership with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) and Save the Children, and has provided an additional 300 million won in support this year.
This second-year project, which continues the total support of 600 million won following last year, aims to promote housing and living stability as well as strengthen self-reliance capabilities for young people who are beginning independent living after leaving protective care. This year, the scope of support has been expanded from young people preparing for independence to include out-of-home youth, and new programs have been added, such as financial education and one-on-one mentoring, to further broaden and deepen the range of support.

The main goals of this second-year project are to provide stable living support through the establishment of a housing foundation, and to enhance self-reliance capabilities through education on daily life information and building social networks. In particular, the focus is on supporting a broader concept of independence, enabling young people to experience healthy growth and positive change, rather than solely supporting career paths such as employment or further education. Based on the "Independent Living White Paper" co-authored by employees of Korea Citibank and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), new practical financial education content and one-on-one mentoring programs will be implemented, aiming to improve both access to information and self-reliance capabilities.
Um Kyungsik, Executive Director of Marketing and Communication at Korea Citibank, stated, "By expanding the scope to include financial education and mentoring that leverage the expertise of a financial institution, we hope to help strengthen the capabilities of young people preparing for independence," and added, "We will continue to provide practical support so that young people can proactively plan their own futures."
