Gyeonggi Province to Hold Parent Respite Support Camp for Families of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for participants in the "2025 3rd Developmental Disabilities Parent Respite Support Camp" until August 14, in order to provide families of individuals with developmental disabilities an opportunity for rest and emotional recovery.

This camp will be held from September 19 to 21 in the Gimpo and Goyang areas, targeting 100 people including adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

The camp is organized as a guardian-child separation program. Individuals with developmental disabilities will be paired one-on-one with volunteers, allowing them to safely participate in a variety of experiential activities. Meanwhile, guardians will have time for rest, emotional recovery, and family communication.
