The "Therapy Garden" at Suncheonman National Garden in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, is offering a unique summer charm with its vibrant red zinnias.

This garden, which harmonizes with the tranquil atmosphere of a traditional Hanok, features a distinctive photo zone decorated with dried persimmons, wooden benches, and cherry trees, captivating visitors. The space filled with vivid red zinnias has now become the most popular photo spot at Suncheonman National Garden.

According to the city on July 31, the "Therapy Garden" has attracted approximately 36,000 visitors so far this year and is currently running four nature healing programs under the themes of aroma, scent, temperature, and special therapy.

Visitors can participate in a variety of programs such as making perfumes, creating diffusers, mist experiences, soap crafts, and making roll-on products. In particular, these experiences stimulate the five senses?including scent, sound, and touch?offering opportunities to escape from everyday stress.

A city official stated, "The Therapy Garden is a place for healing and recovery in nature," and added, "With the zinnias in full bloom, we hope many people visit the garden and find emotional comfort."

Meanwhile, Suncheon City is planning to hold the "Summer Visit" event every Saturday in August, for a total of four times. The event will offer visitors a special experience with a variety of programs such as scent therapy, traditional tea and snack tasting, making Cheongsachorong lanterns, Korean traditional music performances, and a moon-themed photo zone. Participation is only available to those who make reservations in advance.
