On July 31, Shinhan Bank signed a 'Mutual Growth Agreement for the Activation of Busan Public Delivery Service' at Busan City Hall in Yeonje, Busan, together with Busan Metropolitan Government, Busan Small Business Association, and other small business organizations. The signing ceremony was attended by the Busan Citizens' Association Council, Busan Consumers' Association Council, Busan Metropolitan Small Business Association, Korea Foodservice Industry Association Busan Branch, and Korea Franchise Industry Association Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Branch.

Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank will support the integration of Busan's local currency payment function into the public delivery application (app) Ttaenggyeoyo, issue consumer discount coupons, and assist with merchant sign-ups. The bank will also promote various joint marketing initiatives to help increase sales for local small businesses. Shinhan Bank plans to contribute 1.4 billion KRW in guarantee funds to the Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation and, together with Busan Metropolitan Government, provide 20 billion KRW in low-interest business loans to Ttaenggyeoyo-affiliated small businesses based in Busan.

As a platform for mutual growth in the delivery sector, Shinhan Bank has established a system to protect affiliated merchants from malicious reviews or rating attacks. The bank will also continue efforts to spread a 'positive comment culture' on the platform, fostering an environment where small business owners and customers can build mutual respect and trust based on fair evaluation.

Jung Sanghyuk, President of Shinhan Bank, who attended the event, stated, "Through this agreement, we hope to provide an opportunity for many small businesses in Busan to join the platform and increase their sales through Ttaenggyeoyo. We will support a variety of marketing activities to this end." He added, "Going forward, we will strengthen the 'Ttaenggyeoyo' branding and expand our non-financial data-based financial services nationwide, establishing the platform as one that provides benefits to all stakeholders."
