Forty Students Participate in Producing Promotional Content
for 13 Urban Regeneration Hubs in Busan
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) announced on July 31 that it has collaborated with the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Dongseo University to produce an 'Urban Regeneration CM Song Video.'
Forty students from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations participated in this project, taking charge of the entire process from planning to production. The students researched and analyzed major urban regeneration hubs and cases in Busan, and created a 30-second CM song that combines story, music, and animation, making the meaning of urban regeneration easy and enjoyable to understand.
The produced videos consist of eight episodes: ▲Busan's RE:Play ▲Our Busan, Shining Brighter Tomorrow ▲A City Full of Rhythm, Busan ▲Dodoseoyoung Urban Regeneration Exploration ▲Busan, a Better Place to Live through Urban Regeneration ▲Let's All Walk Together in Busan ▲Busan Shining Even More with Urban Regeneration ▲Let's Go Busan. These videos were produced against the backdrop of 13 urban regeneration hubs, including Kkangkkangyi Art Village, Dakbatgol, Bongrae Water Pier, and Hinyeoul Culture Village.
The videos can be viewed on the official YouTube channel of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, 'Badagatube.' In addition, online and offline citizen participation events are scheduled to be held in August.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, stated, "It was a meaningful time as local youth participated directly to express the value of urban regeneration through engaging content," and added, "We will expand opportunities for young people to actively participate in the field of urban regeneration by collaborating with local universities."
