The newly opened park golf course was created by utilizing the Ayang District retention basin. The city secured a total budget of 600 million won for the facility, including 130 million won in provincial funds awarded through last year's Gyeonggi Province Sports Facility Promotion Project.
The golf course covers an area of 4,750 square meters and consists of a total of nine holes: four par-3 holes, four par-4 holes, and one par-5 hole. The course is also equipped with amenities such as a lounge and restrooms. Official operations began on July 31, and visitors can use the course after purchasing tickets at the on-site kiosk.
Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, stated, "With the opening of this park golf course, I believe it will provide an opportunity to expand the base of park golf and allow more citizens to enjoy the sport."
