Receive a 10,000 Won Rebate When You Spend 34,000 Won
Gyeongbuk Province will hold the 'Summer Onnuri Gift Certificate Rebate Event' at 11 traditional markets in the Gyeongbuk region for six days, from August 4 to August 9.
This event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation. It aims to revitalize traditional markets and boost the local economy by promoting the consumption of domestically produced agricultural and livestock products.
The event will take place at 11 markets in 10 cities and counties: Pohang Jukdo Market (Agricultural Products Market), Hyoja Market, Gyeongju Angang Public Market, Gimcheon Hwanggeum Market, Gyeongsan Jungang Shopping District, Chilgok Waegwan Market, Yeongju Seonbigol Traditional Market, Sangju Jungang Market, Uiseong Public Market, Cheongdo Public Market, and Yeongcheon Public Market.
During the event period, customers who purchase domestically produced agricultural and livestock products at these markets will receive rebate benefits of up to 30%: 10,000 won for purchases of 34,000 won or more, and 20,000 won for purchases of 67,000 won or more. Each person can receive a maximum rebate of 20,000 won at the rebate booths within the markets.
Lee Jaehoon, Director of Economic and Trade Affairs at Gyeongbuk Province, stated, "We expect that the Onnuri Gift Certificate Rebate Event will help stabilize perceived prices of agricultural and livestock products and boost consumption in traditional markets." He added, "Residents will be able to purchase high-quality agricultural and livestock products at reasonable prices and benefit from the rebate, which will help ease household financial burdens."
