Apple Partners with Toss After Tmoney, Adds New Payment Option in Korea

Apple, which recently added the Tmoney transportation card function to the iPhone, has now partnered with the domestic financial platform Toss. Toss Pay has been added as a payment method for purchasing iOS applications, Apple Music, and other Apple services.

On July 31, a new 'Apple Hub' feature was introduced in the Toss app. By entering the Apple Hub, users can link their Apple account and view all Apple subscription services, Apple Store purchases, and subscription histories at a glance. Once the Apple account is linked just once in the Toss app, the Apple Hub can be used immediately.

It is also possible to apply for free trials of Apple Music and Apple TV+ through the Apple Hub.

To commemorate the launch of Apple Hub, Toss is holding a special promotion until August 3. When users purchase paid apps from the Apple Store using Toss Pay, they can receive an instant discount of up to 50%. There is also a random draw event where users can receive paid items for popular mobile games for free.

A Toss representative stated, "By building a dedicated hub for integrated management of Apple-related services, we have enabled users to conveniently manage their payment and subscription histories," and added, "We plan to continuously enhance the Apple Hub feature."
