Support for Chungnam Region Including Seosan
by the HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation
On July 31, HD Hyundai Oilbank announced that it had donated 300 million won to support recovery efforts in the Chungnam region, including Seosan, which suffered significant damage from heavy rainfall.

The donation ceremony, held the previous day at the Chungnam Provincial Government Office in Hongseong County, Chungnam, was attended by Kim Tae-heum, Governor of Chungnam Province, Jeong Imju, CEO of HD Hyundai Oilbank, and Seong Woojong, Chairman of the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea.
This donation, sponsored by the HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation and organized by HD Hyundai Oilbank, will be used through the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea to provide essential living supplies and other support to households affected by the heavy rainfall in Chungnam.
In particular, as a local company headquartered in Seosan, Chungnam, HD Hyundai Oilbank previously donated 100 million won to Seosan City immediately after the flood damage to support rapid recovery efforts.
In addition, the company provided around 2,500 ton bags (large sacks) for flood recovery in the area, and more than 60 executives and employees, including the CEO, participated directly in volunteer activities, demonstrating practical support.
A representative from HD Hyundai Oilbank stated, "We hope for the swift recovery of daily life for local residents who are facing difficulties due to the sudden flooding," and added, "We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibilities in partnership with the local community."
