Chicken Pension Event to Be Held During the Match
Genesis BBQ Group announced that it will host the "2025 FC Barcelona Asia Tour - FC Seoul Friendly Match" at Seoul World Cup Stadium on July 31, inviting approximately 30,000 spectators.
This match is part of a sports marketing project presented to celebrate BBQ's 30th anniversary. From June 11 to July 27, BBQ selected spectators through various events, including BBQ app ticket entries, new BBQ app sign-ups, friend referrals for app sign-ups, TOP 100, TOP 20, TOP 1000 events, official Instagram events, wrapping bus certification shot events, and scratch-off ticket entries. In addition to event winners, a total of about 30,000 people will participate, including domestic franchise owners (referred to as "Family"), overseas Family members operating stores, and master franchise partners.

During the match, a large-scale card section performance called "I Love BBQ (I♡BBQ)" will take place, involving about 50,000 spectators, including supporters of FC Seoul and FC Barcelona. To commemorate the 30th anniversary, a "Chicken Pension" on-site lottery will also be held. This lottery is open to all spectators, and a total of 10 winners will be selected.
A BBQ representative stated, "Today in Sangam, the passion for chicken, football, and the global BBQ family comes together as one," and added, "We hope this match will allow us to share the excitement created by the combination of K-food and sports with the world."
