Shinsegae Food Reopens Renovated Boulangerie at Starfield Market Dongtan

Shinsegae Food announced on July 31 that it will newly open the "Boulangerie Dongtan" store.

Shinsegae Food has renovated its existing bakery, which was previously operated inside Emart, to open as "Boulangerie Dongtan" in line with the renewal opening of "Starfield Market Dongtan."

At "Boulangerie Dongtan," a separate display method by product type has been introduced to make bakery shopping easier, and the store layout has been designed in a straight line to enhance shopping convenience. Bakery products are divided into six categories by type, such as healthy bread, daily bread, and family bread, and each category is displayed in its own zone so that customers can easily find the products they need. Additionally, the six category zones are arranged in a straight-line format, allowing for one-way shopping so that customers can use carts and enjoy the most convenient shopping route for bakery items.

To celebrate the renewal opening, "Boulangerie Dongtan" is running a promotion until August 6, offering one additional loaf for free when purchasing two types of healthy bread ("Mild Grain Bread" and "Chewy Brown Rice Bread"). Reflecting the popularity of healthy bread trends, the store is also introducing a new exclusive product, "65-degree Seed Grain Sourdough." At bakery stores operated by Shinsegae Food in Emart locations nationwide, cumulative sales of healthy bread have surpassed 2.5 million units from October last year to July, indicating strong popularity.

A Shinsegae Food representative said, "In line with the renewal opening of Starfield Market Dongtan, we have not only renovated the interior of Boulangerie Dongtan, which is operated by Shinsegae Food, but also made it easier for customers to shop and select the products they want." The representative added, "We will continue to develop higher-quality bakery products and expand differentiated stores for customer convenience to further enhance customer satisfaction at 'Boulangerie.'"
