The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced on July 30 that Nakwol Blue Heart, which is promoting the Nakwol Offshore Wind Power Project, and B.Grimm Power, a Thai energy company, have donated 400 million KRW to help neighbors affected by flood damage.
The donation ceremony, held in Mapo-gu on the same day, was attended by Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to Korea; Peradak Patanacharn, CEO of B.Grimm Power Korea; Jung Jongyoung, CEO of Myungwoon Industrial Development (major shareholder of Nakwol Blue Heart); and Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge.
Starting with support for flood victims in 2023, the two companies have continued to participate in sharing through Hope Bridge whenever various disasters have occurred.
Jung Jongyoung, CEO of Myungwoon Industrial Development (major shareholder of Nakwol Blue Heart), said, "We hope this will provide even a small amount of help to neighbors suffering from flood damage," and added, "We will continue to be a company that shares both joy and sorrow with the community."
Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, stated, "We are deeply grateful that not only domestic but also global companies have empathized with the pain of our neighbors and have taken active steps," and added, "Hope Bridge will continue to stand by affected neighbors until their daily lives are restored and will do our utmost to fulfill our responsibilities."
